Managed real estate in Costa Rica

Now is a great time to buy real estate in Costa Rica as there are some great deals with motivated sellers pricing their properties attractively to sell. The real estate investor should also consider the future and the development of the country, which already boosts good social education, healthcare and the various forms of Costa Rica’s rich renewable energy with 82% of hydroelectricity being the largest source of natural energy and is aiming to be the worlds first carbon-neutral country. The new third generation cellular phone and Internet communications link areas of the country that previously had no telephone or Internet coverage. There is well-developed eco tourism that preserves the nations resources and gains revenue in the form tourism. There have also been giant leaps with road and transport infrastructure. The New highway 27 from San Jose to Calderas in the Central Pacific coast has dramatically cut the driving time from the capital to the Pacific coast putting the destinations of Jaco and Manuel Antonio in easy reach of San Jose. The Newly paved coast road from Quepos to Dominical that was completed in 2010 has made the once bumpy and dusty journey to Dominical into a comfortable scenic drive and helps easier and faster access to the Southern Pacific areas.

The Osa Peninsular on the Southern Pacific coast of Costa Rica has been one of the countries most remote areas but now that is changing with the dirt track now paved to Puerto Jimenez. Gone are the dusty days of the dry season were the cars kicked up dust and the villages were cut off due to heavy rains in the green season.

There is also a proposal for an international airport in the area of Sierpe, the gateway to the famous Drakes Bay. But before any construction starts a study on environmental impact will be carried out, there are new guidelines that are designed to maintain small-scale sustainable development that will offer quality and not quantity.

This well managed and continued expansion and development has added quality of life to the residents, visitors and tourists. As growth continues this enhances desirability and the value to the real estate investment.
